SuperPhoto Free

I'm just getting started using it and have no issues with making it work . Usually , I have problems with making computer stuff work because I'm kinda " old school " but the feature are really neat and it's a breeze to navigate

The free app has exactly nine free effects/filters which don't match the picture in the app store. They are: 1. Science black board; 2. Little flowers; 3. USA flag; 4. Stroke sketch; 5. Sketchbook; 6. Cross puzzle; 7. Building puzzle; 8. Two pieces (puzzle pieces, that is); 9. TVs The user controls the strength of the effect, whether it's applied to part or all of the picture, and on select filters, how the filter is applied (i.e., multiplication, addition, dodging, etc.). In other words, control is extremely limited. While this app is not for me, some people may enjoy the effects created with their photos.

This hap has a lot of really cool options to pic from, many of which are available in other apps, but has a whole bunch that are not! The downside? I have installed this on two different Win10 machines and it has stability issues. I need to close and reopen the program often.

There are some nice filters if you don't mind waiting forever just to navigate in some instances. Too bad...I really wanted this ap to work well. I'd give it one star except like I said, the filters are decent. Update: The app is behaving much better after the 2nd day. I believe that the lag that was being experienced was a delay caused by all of the filter tiles that had to be initially downloaded. So far, so good. I'll upgrade my review from 2 to 3 stars until I have more experience with this. Update 2: In response to Moonlighting's response, I'm running a quad processor with 8 gig of ram on a laptop, not the latest and greatest but should be plenty sufficient to run canned effects. Lag when running effects is acceptable, I understand that, lag when just trying to select an effect is unacceptable and this is what I was experiencing when first downloaded. After several days of using this software the lag has become much, much less.

App shuts down quite often. I'm on a laptop using Windows 8. It also does not refresh the picture if I decide you pick a different filter, it just keeps producing the same filter .

I like the ease of it and the huge selection of free options, but there several of the free options that don't work as they should. The preview comes up, but there are errors when you try to use the tweaking tools. Re-try doesn't work. It is still a fun and very useful app and I will be hanging on to it with hopes that these errors smooth out or a fix is provided.

A real time waster but tons of fun! Love playing around with it! Easy to use
