Description

MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, weather application that displays animated weather radar around your current location, allowing you to quickly see what weather is coming your way. Just start the app, and your location pops up with animated weather, allowing you to easily see if rain is approaching. Our high-definition animated radar helps you see weather details even at the closest level!

What's great about MyRadar is that the map is easily zoomed and scrolled around with the flick of a finger, allowing you to quickly check the weather in other parts of the country, including Hawaii & Puerto Rico!

On top of the basic weather, users can get a quick glance of temperatures around the country, as well as overlay a current satellite image of cloud cover.

Additional features include weather warnings and alerts, complete with push notifications, to warn you of severe weather in your area. Great for the start of thunderstorm and tornado season!

There's also an optional upgrade to remove ads and activate the live tile feature. The optional hurricane tracker upgrade provides excellent details and projections for the path of storms.

Awesome App., Excellent support and it is FREE by Joseph

The programmer can't say this but I can!! For those of you cry babies who don't know this is a weather repeater that pulls data from another source which in itself does not control the weather; stop !! It is FREE and it does everything you need to form your opinion on what the weather might do !! I gave it 5 stars BECAUSE IT DESERVES THAT. I don't know this programmer but I am an retired medical programmer who appreciates excellent software. Once again it is FREE and I for one would like to be as supportive as I can to an individual that gave his time without the greed to always make the most money he or she can. THANK YOU PROGRAMMER FOR THS AND YOUR TIME INVESTED INTO IT. EXCELLENT JOB !!!

    MyRadar Weather Radar by Harvey

I really enjoy and like this app. I downloaded free from the App. Store. It shows me the current and up-to-the-minute radar showing me storm approaches. The only downside is that it does not show lighting strikes or severe thunderstorms or other severe weather like hook echoes indicating possible rotation or possible tornado in the area or gives watches or alerts and wind speeds. Other then that the weather radar app is great.

Great app! So why doesn't NOAA do this for free? by Stephanie

I love the features, but think the cost of a full-featured version is extravagant! All the app does is use all NOAA weather service radars into one display. A lot of money for a string of code that links the radars together! This is an app which gathers all the NOAA weather service radars into one screen, making it easy to check conditions across the nation! So why doesn't NOAA offer a web version of this to view all the radars?

Radar that's actually informative by Robert

In a nutshell, this app gives me reliable, accurate, and informative radar information. I have a weather app. I've tried several. None of them have radar this good and this detailed. It also provides me with detailed NWS watch/warning notices (before my weather app does) and clearly shows the outlines of the alerts on the radar map. The free version was excellent, but I liked it so much that this is one of the very few apps I actually paid money for-- just to support their work. Get whatever app you want for weather. Then pick this app up for actually useful radar information when the storm comes.
