Gamestreams is the unofficial Twitch.tv client for Windows
Gamestreams is not affiliated with Twitch.tv in any way and is made by fans who love Twitch. We wanted a native Windows app so we can watch Twitch on our devices. Since that wasn't available we made our own.
Current version supports viewing streams of top viewed games, searching for streams and games, chat, follow streams, snapped view and background audio.

It takes me 10 tries to open this thing, the first 9 times of just immediately crashes and then finally works on magic number 10. Not worth all the hassle

Works awesome. Occasionally it won't load the stream when I select it, and sometimes when I leave a stream, the audio continues, which can be annoying. One other thing that is a little annoying is that there doesn't seem to be a way to search for a streamer who isn't currently streaming. Other than that, it works great, the interface is very intuitive, chat is integrated better than on the actual website. The minor imperfections are well worth it to me.
