VUDU Movies and TV

I am excited that Vudu FINALLY added a MW10 app because watching movies using a browser is horrendous. Still needs work. Movies sometimes don't show up so I have to close the app and re-open it to see them in a list again. Didn't have 5.1 audio at first but does now. However, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY! Could you please allow the mouse cursor to disappear when you don't use it for a couple of seconds just like every single app that has ever been made for PC. How does Vudu, a streaming service that prides itself on high video/audio quality, not program the cursor to vanish when not in use is beyond me. Also, the free "Movies on us" doesn't work either. Video playback needs some work yet. The app seems to have the contrast set too high and no, it's not my display.

Update 3.29.17 UHD broken after Creators update. Finally!! Thank you. Very happy with this. UPDATE: App out for XBox One and it is great!! Now if only we could get an updated app for the XBox One S. Preferably that supports 4k, if exclusive license with Roku is up yet. And add Collections in the Explore area. Beware although it says Xbox one as a supported system, as of Nov. 29 it is not. You just get an app that says coming soon.

I dont know if its MS or Vudu who is holding back the free movies on the Vudu but who ever it is needs to get over themselves and let us enjoy the full Vudu app. Until then I highly recommend the Vudu app just not on Xbox.

I have been a VUDU member for over 10 years and I love the fact that I can play my movies and purchase them on my XBox. BUT, there are three features that I have grown quite fond of that are not CURRENTLY available on this app. First, the filter options remember my settings and I don't have to reset them every time I sign in. Second, the FREE MOVIES option to view select movies with commercials; like Crackle. Finally, the option to download my movies to my hard drive. The first two features I mentioned are available on cell phones, tablets, and (I'm sorry to say) the Playstation. The download option I've only seen on the Playstation. If I were to see the first two options, I would be MORE THAN happy to give this app a five star rating. Please consider what I have mentioned. In addition, HDX movies do not stream well without asking you to switch to SD due to bandwith issues (MY SPEED 80Mb). After doing so, it follows up with a network error that crashes the app and you have to restart.

Since the update of this app, it looks great. Does a great job streaming my movies, and now sorting, making it easier to go thru my library.

I love Vudu...like, a whole lot! There was a problem before where you couldn't run it on your computer if your User folder wasn't on your System drive (I move mine because I have a small SSD for my system drive)...but they've since fixed it! Now it's perfect! Awesome job guys!

i own a lot movies own Vudu. Even though Vudu is a cash cow for Wal-Mart, they don't keep up with maintenance for their service. I have had so many problems with their service over the years. Today, its "playback error" for every movie I try to watch. So I go to watch it on my Android, "can't find license for content" with every movie i choose. FIX THIS!

Not to bad of a start for a Windows 10 version. Now we need mobile!
