Closest Thing to a Radio Station Board by John

I'm a big fan of this app because it is the closest thing I have found to the type of touchscreen board I used at my old radio station. Great in conjunction with my other audio production tools.

    Very Useful by Jonathan

This and I immediately got it after seeing how good it was for soundboard usage. I plan on using this for my drama plays as sound tech for the plays and it looks like a smile easy to use app.

Updated Rating by 2 stars - Much more stable by Kenneth

Has been updated since my last review 9/15. I use this app for football and basketball games. Some needed features: 1. Master "play" feature. When selecting a button, it should play on a master sound player so that we can look to other tabs as we look for other sounds/music to play. Currently the song cuts off if you click on another tab. A nice feature to have: 1. Setting on each button that allows us to fade in or out of each song at the beginning or conclusion of the track. 2. Ability to create a playlist of music from the app... otherwise I have to swap out to another music player.

An update to the way Media Soundboard handles files has changed. To anyone who previously had a problem with saving their own soundboards, please update Media Soundboard.

Could be SO good, but is not there yet. by Eric

This app has a lot of impressive and useful features, such as the ability to fade a track while it's playing, playing multiple tracks at once, changing the volume of individual tracks as they're playing, and more. (It can continue playing a track while a separate track is selected and loaded into the playlist! That's so cool!) I really REALLY want to be able to rate this app highly, because it has so much potential. I cannot, though, because it seems to crash whenever the screen saver of my laptop kicks in and immediately reverts to default settings, replacing all the tracks in each of my sound file playlists with the sample tracks of default factory settings. It did this twice during a the very performance I had purchased this app for in the first place, causing me to have to reload all 19 tracks during the performance. This seems like an easy fix considering the amazing features offered otherwise. Please repair this, post haste, and I'll revisit my review.

Functional, but not complete by Unknown

There lacks a bit of customizations that would be nice to have in a studio cartwall, but overall it gets the job done. It would be nice if the page flip was instant, rather than waiting for a slow animation to finish. I am hoping the "show album artwork' will be something I can use to add in my own graphics to more clearly see what each button is, since the text label on the buttons are very small, and are not adjustable. The "Tile View" button seems to not really do anything other than cutting out an entire 4 button row of of the board. On for the good, the buttons are responsive, and the sounds play and stop in real time, which I've struggled to find in other boards. It's fairly light weight so this ancient Microsoft Surface RT can run it without performance issues. Either way, it's worth the $2.50 I paid for it, and if changes were made to address the flaws, I would have happily paid more than that to use it. Cheers.
