Great communication app but lacking key features that android and ios have. Sad to see since its a Microsoft app

This is one of my most important applications. I have an android and iPhone that both have group me. IPhone has wonderful functions like GIF and multimedia attachments. Both competing platforms have location support. How is it that an application developed by a subsidiary of Microsoft is weaker on the Windows phone platform than the other two? Very upsetting. Of you want consumers to take windows firm seriously, your company should take it seriously.

not as good as the iphone or android app... Cant send videos, slow to refresh/load upon opening the app, and it often doesn't clear notifications/mark the thread as read after switching groups or leaving the app... Messages don't always send... Notifications sometimes just stops working... cmon microsoft... it's your own company/app...

How can this app on Windows Phone be worst than the same app on Android and iPhone? Are you kidding with us Microsoft?

When I used Skype on WP, I had felt that it was worst app I had ever used. That was until I used GroupMe on Windows Phone. Now it's a toss-up between the two. Changing your alias is meaningless because it will randomly revert to your actual name. It is extremely laggy. There is no way to go back to the home page from a discussion the first time you hit the back button. It will take you to the start screen instead. Only works the second time. Developers who create such horrible apps should try using them for a while before releasing them to the public.
