SkyMap

"SkyMap" is truly a 5 star "App." Whether you're an experienced astronomer working at one of NASA's gigantic telescopes. Or you're simply one of the millions of amateur astronomers, with a telescope set up in the back yard. This "app" was made for everyone to enjoy (and no, u don't need an advanced degree in astrophysics to have fun with it.) For the novice astronomer it not only has all the planets in our solar system, it also has all of the constellations, in remarkably beautiful artistic impressions. For the more experienced astronomer their are plenty of stars to investigate, nearly all of which are hundreds if not thousands of light-years away from our solar system. There is even a band of a piece of the Milky Way, which is absolutely beautiful. If you want an "app" on your mobile device that you'll never get tired of, "SkyMap" is want you want. I mean who doesn't love ❤ to look at the stars which make up our universe. ~F~

Just bought a telescope! Skymap is great for helping me look in the right direction for planets and constellations. Highly recommended!

Great App!!! I used this to find Jupiter at night. Works perfect for the ameteur astronomer.

This is a wonderful app. I work in a planetarium and use this to study the constellations and to set the starball to the correct view for that night. Very useful, though changing the time factor makes the scrolling rather glitchy. Otherwise very nice

Overall it works as advertised. Make sure you don't accidently disable "point to sky" feature ☺ It is very responsive and fairly accurate on my 950xl. So far so good. I think I will purchase it.

Very annoying star map. The originators make random objects blink. This blinking messes up the map views. The moon is not displayed to assist in locating sky objects. Could be a great app but originators have destroyed it's usefulness in locating objects.
