Imperia Online: The Great People

The game will be fun at first but do NOT spend any money. The game is set up so that you can never catch up to the lead players. As soon as you start to grow they will destroy your empire. You invest money, fix everything and repeat. This game is nothing but a money scheme by the manufacturer. I have sent emails about the unfair balance but the only response was "we will consider it".

George the community manager that answers problems is quite rude. You should not ask for any help. Also, It's reallllly bugged out and you can't use chat unless you're an xbox gold member. Your inbox will fill up while you miss your alliance chat and messages.. some would save you from being wiped out. Some of the aspects are ok but just stay away from trying to ask for help.. or don't you dare respond to it.. this is what you get "As I already told you, there are many players with the same problem." shesh.. I was just agreeing with the guy saying yeah.. I'm not sure why xbox lets you chat at all to start then cuts you off in like a week. There are better free games out there I'd strongly urge you to play another. Thanks George!

Lot of development in game, flat old style graphics. Don't care for PvP, other players attacking all the time when you need everything you can save up over days at a time to get something upgraded. Not worth my time and trouble. Asked if they might put a switch in for people who would like to play just to do the development; if they do that it might be worth it. I think that might be a good thing for Alliance Leaders in some ways, since there are plenty of barbarian camps to hit for resources. I'm uninstalling and quitting.

who would pay money for this? alls it is multi-accounters, diamond hackers at the top, admins, getting free diamonds to be at the top, I would never, and repeat NEVER, PUT ONE WOODEN NICKEL TO THIS. THEY need to clean up the bullsheet! I don't see how this made it onto the windows store, not enough features for windows user compared to android or Apple...Windows version sucks

This game is awesome. Don't listen to all the haters. This game rarely crashes. The lack of global chat is actually nice, because you don't have to see all the stupid people being stupid, The game did offer me a $20 starter pack, but it doesn't pressure you to buy it. In the beginning, upgrade your farms and houses, and every so often your resource buildings. This game is probably the best online strategy game. People have the nerve to call this a pay to win game, and never say anything about Game of War. Shame on them.

I had to update my review based on poorly developed combat metrics. Undefended fortresses can defeat well armed armies. Even worse, you don't get exposed to the extreme pay to win aspects of this game until you're months into playing it. Game developers need to make combat metrics more logical and fair, or this game will bleed off all but the high paying players. For the few, high paying players that remain, enjoy your cliques while you can, as i don't see this game surviving in current form. Read the fine print, you can pay up to $440 in a so-called micro transaction in this game. The free to play players are all shark bait for paying crowd. Game was fun for first month, but there are attack restrictions based on your points/size, so you don't get exposed to the sharks until you level up enough to get in their range.
