Secret of the Pendulum

Nice plot, nice graphics, good pace. Downside so far - limited clues, after that you have to pay in rewards which are a LONG time getting, or wing it. Getting stuck with no 'help' or walkthrough isn't fun! I just finished another similar game that was awesome...this one is NOT

I'm intrigued by the storyline, not that I've gotten very far since you can only play for a few minutes a day. The entire game centers around coins, which you earn by completing tasks which require more coins than you'll be rewarded. You earn coins primary by waiting for your exhibits to collect them, but to earn enough to play the game takes 9+ hours. I once left it alone for more than twenty-four and still could only play for fifteen minutes or so before running out of coins. It's also pretty confusing on what you're suppose to be doing, as hints cost jewels which cost real money. So you're walking around blindly a lot. I wish you could just pay once and then play the whole game rather than this ten minutes a day nonsense.

The game is ok so far. But if it is like the other games and it leaves you hanging and you got to pay to finish the game it isn't much fun to play after all you are saying it is free to play. So I'm thinking it is for the whole game, If not then it isn't fun at all,

I played thru the whole game, and it took me almost a year to complete the game, but I still had some stars to fill on the latest scenes, so I I could still continue with the hidden object scenes. Then my computer conked out on me, and I had to start over on another computer. This time I followed the quests that are given in the upper left corner of the screen, and it is surprising to see how much faster I've been able to progress through the game, when I played it the right way. I'm enjoying it so much more this time around, and I am making progress without having to spend all my time playing hide and seek, and then having to wait on more coins to replenish. That took the fun out of the game, until I started following directions. So my tip to you is to do the constantly changing quests as they are presented, instead of trying to strike out on your own because the quest wasn't what you really wanted to do at that particular time. You will find the game so much more enjoyable.

It reminds me of Secret of Monkey Island but has these cool time paradoxes where you need to create future and past events to solve the mysteries. It's a really cool game!

I am ok with built in minigames as a sidetrack to get the game going, but when the minigame has to be repeated or becomes just another test of my hand eye coordination, then it is no longer part of the story of the game. This game requires you to do minigames multiple times to progress in the story and you have to spend resources to play the game, which do recharge slowly, and it penalizes you for not getting the minigame finished in the first ten seconds. I gave this 2 stars because of the intriguing story put in to the mystery of the game, which I will never know how it ends because I am not going to do the crappy minigames over and over and over and over...

need to be able to earns coins without purchasing them. the game is fun but somewhat tedious with repetitive actions. This game is addictive and can keep you entertained.

Like this type of game. Only thing I dislike is too much focus in gaining reward points and gems...I just want to relax and play and explore, who cares about the points?
