Oxenfree

First off all - I am really liking this new gaming push by Microsoft and gaming studios. It is really setting windows apart from the rest simply because we are getting console games and not mobile versions of stuff. Having fun playing console games on my surface book while I travel which I do often. Kudos to Microsoft for windows 10 Regarding this game. It is gorgeous and the voice acting is superb! You enjoy the clarity of it all. The storyline is deep and intriguing. The way the game flows is great and totally worth the entrance fee.

Saw the game on YouTube and loved the story and characters then I saw it in the Windows store and decided to buy it. Even though my laptop meets all minimal requirements, I can't seem to get past the beginning part on the boat. It starts out working fine with barely any lagging at all but as the scene progresses, it noticeably gets more laggy until it freezes all together and I can't continue. I turned off the effects and subtitles and lowered my screen resolution but the same thing happened. Tested it in both windowed and full screen mode. Also, it doesn't freeze in the same spot every time. One time, it froze almost at the end of the boat scene and another time, it froze at the beginning of the scene and so on. I love this game but it seems this patch isn't very compatible with my laptop. I hope this problem is fixed in a later update because if not, I just wasted $19.99.

Lags on Surface Pro 4

I love it! Its a story driven game that unfolds on an island between friends. Mysterious, engaging, dark. Its a deep story that plays out like a good thriller movie. While the gameplay mechanics are solid enough, this game is for those who like good characters, story and a intriguing plot more. My only complaint is that the game runs a little choppy on my Surface Pro 2 with 8gbs of ram and i5.
