Description

Liquid Physics 2D is, as the name suggests, a 2D physics engine plugin for Unity. It's based on a version of Box2D and LiquidFun (an extension of Box2D).

It's an easy to use tool that allows you to create advanced physics based games and simulations within the unity engine. It can simulate tens of thousands of particles in real time to create realistic fluid effects.

The asset can be downloaded now from the unity asset store, see link below: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/23907

It's a bit laggy (on a Lumia 925). Also the ad covers a load of the demos making them useless.

Incredible! Just beautiful! My phone stutters a little, but manages to render it quite nicely. As a fan of Grant Kot's "Fluid" app and other particle-based virtual toys, i'm mesmerized! Gives me the urge to call even the weird guy sitting the other side of the subway car to see it. Also, did I just saw a Brazilian Real coin there? I'd love to see this tech applied to virtual hourglasses, lava lamps and sand art frames in the app store. There are some apps like these out there, but they don't use actual particle physics. Just a nitpick: The ad at the bottom ruins some scenes. Awesome app overall.
