Description

Welcome to the 2018 edition of Gomoku. Featuring a faster and smoother user interface along with a stronger state of the art artificial intelligence engine, the 2018 edition celebrates 15 years of ZingMagic bringing you the best in board, card and puzzle games.

The ancient game of Gomoku is essentially a very simple one, however as you progress you will be surprised at the richness and strategies required in both defence and attack.

Gomoku is a game for two people playing in opposition. Players take turns placing pieces on the board. The object of the game is to be the first player to achieve five pieces in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Whilst essentially a very simple game, the game is both fascinating and profound. As you improve your playing ability you will be surprised at the richness and strategies required in both defence and attack

With support for 3 different board sizes and over 20 levels of game play you are sure to find one that exercises your mind to its limit.

    Not Go by Matthew

The game is not the classic Japanese area control game. Instead it is just a reskinned 5 in a row game. The ads are obnoxious, the alternate boards and pieces require you to spend two dollars. It's not what is advertised or interesting at all.

Gomoku for smart people by Robert

This app actually plays an almost unbeatable game. Finally, you actually have to think about it when playing this game engine. It knows how to play, is not fooled at all, and won't overlook winning moves. Good job.

Not a good game by Garrett

Doesn't pick up trapped pieces, makes about 8 moves, randomly declares you've lost, then play a large, loud and obnoxious ad.
