Description

Do you have what it takes to be an Airline Manager?

Airline Director makes you as a CEO run an Airline in the tough business of commercial aviation!

Game features: -Huge variety of aircraft from different manufacturers! -Airports around the world! -Realistic economic model with recessions and booms, fluctuating oil prices and competition! -Manage multiple hub airports and plan connecting routes! -Beautiful airline route maps!

Quick tips: -It is good to start routes with small aircraft first and add capacity if needed. -Hub airports will create connecting routes if the one stop distance is not more than 30% of the direct flight. Connecting routes are animated on the map. -Some airports tax old aircraft heavily so make sure to use new aircraf for these destinations. -Long and competitive routes need a high service level for the airline to be competitive.

It's like an updated version of Aerobiz Supersonic, a game that I LOVE. I could only give it 4 stars because it does just kinda get hard all of a sudden. If the economy fails in one region and you haven't expands operations to another region, game over. Your airline will lose everything. With that one exception, its a great game. It is glitch free and uses real aircraft. Great game **UPDATE** I added the 5th star because I can now get around the recession. Close routes immediately, sell aircraft if necessary, move to another region and set up shop. This game is worth every penny, if you are into this type of game

    Good Simulation But by robert

Well overall reminds me of the Aerobic type games. I wish you had more control over flight fares etc in order to compete with other airlines in game. Also listing reports of how the other airlines rank as compared to you in the game

Game is alright, needs improvement by Arthur

The tutorial (for the most part) explains the game play. It's time-based and you start off in the 1940's/50's and progress from there. With each stage of aircraft (props/turbo/jet) the game will save it so you can just start a new game in whatever time you'd like, but you need to unlock it first. Every so often, there will be positive/negative buffs affecting flights throughout each continent. The game could use more smaller turboprops/jets as time goes on; as well as more airports. One problem I noticed: right around 2030, my hq region had a recession and I stopped flying my routes, to save money. I waited and waited and eventually had to stop playing around 2050 because the recession still had an impact in my region. With some improvements, this could turn out to be a good $5 game.

Needs some updates but a great game by Brian

Needs to have some kind of ranking system. also need to do months instead of time changing every quater. also need to make the game a little more realistic, instead of just buying things when your negative money. be able to select the amount of flights a month/quarter depending if you change the time. and also be able to buy gates and change the seating configuration on the aircraft. email me updated [email protected]

    Very disappointed by Jess

The amount of controls is pathetic and no help or instructions found.

    Pretty good by Michael

I quite like the game. It can keep you interested for quite some time. The fact that you can't adjust the fares doesn't bother me too much - before the deregulation of the airline market, they were fixed anyways. My main point of criticism is that the 40 - 100 seat segment of airliners is almost non-existent. As the in-game advisor rightfully notices, it'd be best to start new routes with a low capacity plane. But that's pretty difficult to do later in the game. Just add some ******, ATR, Dash 7/8 and the problem would be much smaller. Otherwise, the first economical crisis to hit your continent will be the end of your airline...
