ACA NEOGEO SENGOKU

I can't complain technically. Hamster's great emulator doesn't disappoint: good options and lots of them. The problem is while Sengoku is everything I remember, its also a brawler from '91. By modern standards its fighting engine is quite limited! Combos are pretty much non-existent, nevermind any real creativity. Mobility is limited to walking and jumping. Defensive options aren't there. As is, Sengoku is a piece of the past with some interesting ideas, good presentation, and a unique personality - I'll give it a 2 for that. But if you're looking for a good brawler or coop game? There's better out there.

Nam-75 and Metal Slug both work well for me, but this doesn't. After the ACA Sengoku logo disappears and starts loading the game, it never goes past the black screen. I trust this will be fixed soon. Maybe more stars to come.... EDIT: After two unsuccessful tries, it finally started working. Sengoku the way you remember it. A must have if you like it as much as you probably did back then.
