Great app for seeing Lunar phases by Joshua

This app gives tons of info on the moon and other planets. The one thing I would like to see though is the time of the moon rise where Im at. I can't believe that's not in the info that's included. Otherwise, this is an awesome app!

pretty—but useless for photography by Timothy

This app makes a great first impression with its amazing graphics. Its lunar calendar and control over the date make it seem like it's got everything you'd ever want in a moon phases app + more. However, once you look past the bling, the app has very little to offer a photographer. As has been pointed out in other reviews, the app doesn't provide moon rise and set times. You need to find another app to get this basic information. Maybe that's a good thing because, despite having permission to use my location, the sunrise/sunset times are off by 3:06 (sunrise) and 3:12 (sunset). Obviously not a DST issue. You cannot set a location manually. Then there's that cool constellation chart. It is this feature that makes me think I'm missing the whole point of this app. If I'm reading it correctly (and I don't know if I am), it shows the constellations visible at a particular time of day and year, as well as the planets and their height in the sky (?) but, again, from what location?

    lovely little app. by Unknown

I love the night sky. Very pretty app with information easy to see. But of all the stuff there-and this is a moon app- there is no rising or setting times for the moon ?

Perfect for what I needed by Raymond

As a writer I like having the ability to check the moon phases on a variety of dates it goes well into the future which is great for me. The only thing its missing is the ability to check BC dates. The astrological information is a fantastic bonus to me. Thanks.

Good but not fully accurate by Daravuth

This app has really nice graphics and stats, but there are a few minor inaccuracies. The star chart for example is missing the constellation Ophiuchus, which officially crosses the ecliptic along with the other 12 constellations. I believe this was made official by the IAU (International Astronomical Union). Secondly, Capricorn should be spelled Capricornus. Other than that, great app!
