Better than any anatomy textbook by Felipe

Let me give my review some context by first stating that I am a physician, and I wish I had this software back when I was a medical student. It is phenomenal, and I mean that in the full sense of the word. However, I see a few people complaining about its price-tag: about $25. That's a drop in the bucket when compared to the total cost of a medical education or a similar career. Grey's Anatomy textbooks are $150 USD. Netter's Atlas sets you back another $100 USD. So $25 for an interactive 3D Anatomy Atlas that has clinical integrations built into it, collaborative study features, customizable quizzes and lectures seems like a steal to me. And in my educated opinion, when compared to a 2-dimensional textbook, this software does a much better job at teaching the functions, relative locations and important clinical vignettes associated with individual anatomical structures and their pathologies. So cut these publishers a break, they made a great product at a low price-point.

    Customer Service by Ernesto D

I am currently in school for nursing and had a question about the placement of the lungs in their 3D model. Customer Service gave me an explanation and said that it was addressed to their IT department. I was also informed that the respiratory system would be updated and placed to match the correct vertebre. I love that they responded to my email almost immediately and were willing to listen to the concerns of a client. I really do love this app and prefer it over the Atlas 2017! I do hope eventually they have a A&P education version. That can provide videos and a section that focuses on Pathophysiology, to assist students and medical personal, in identifying deficiencies in the human body.

    Great app by W. Kyle

I buy very few apps, and review even fewer. I've been using 3d4medical apps since Essential Anatomy 3, in undergrad nursing school. Now I'm in a CRNA program and appreciating all the new features of Complete Anatomy. The difference in realism between this and Visual Body is important when trying to identify features on lab models. Also, the screens and tools are great for creating references to study and share with classmates. Finally, visualizing muscle movement and tracing nerves/vessels has been helpful. 3d4medical continues to add details to the model, and I'm expecting that organ will become even more detailed and lectures more in-depth over time.

    Amazing anatomy tool! by Yanni

Med student here, this app is a fantastic way to learn difficult structures and how they form together, especially the muscle movements. The public database is a brilliant way to share great screens. One thing however, I'd like to be able to reduce or minimize the menu on the right hand side - it takes up a lot of space and it'd be nice to have some additional work room.

AMAZING app for med students! by Morgan

I'm a medical student and I *love* this app. It has literally everything you could possibly want to thoroughly and completely learn anatomy. I only wish there was a way to switch it between male and female anatomy. Thanks for a truly impressive app.

YOU CANT DELETE LECTURES! by DEFAULT

I've removed my mostly positive past review. Why>? Because you can not DELETE lectures! That's right! For some odd reason 3D has decided to let you download (& buy) lectures but once you do the only way to delete them is to DELETE the AP and reinstall! What??? What if I downloaded a bunch of lectures and only want to delete one? YOU CANT! You have to delete the app and re-download all the ones you wanted to keep! And how about all those people on devices who have limited storage? How inconvenient for the users. It's also difficult to evaluate the usefulness of the paid lectures when you aren't allowed to view them. 1-3 day try before you buy would be beneficial for both seller and purchaser. Since I am now being asked to evaluate different ways of learning by my school for undergrads I can not recommended any of these lectures. Way to move backward...Who's programing this stuff? --- NO LANDSCAPE VIEW! Difficult instructing undergrads on surface4 - tiny full view :(

    Misleading and Deceptive by B

When other people say "This application isn't really free" the devs hop on and point out that you can download it for free but have to pay to unlock the features. That's now what "free" means. I get a license requiring you to pay for a pro subscription if you want the lectures, that's fine. Pay if you want to be able to use a screen cap of something for a paper. But that's now how these guys roll. No you get do download it free and can look at the skeletal structure and nothing else (not very complete) or you have to pay for a sub. Not only that but if you've bought this sub on your desktop and need to use it at school so you download it with your laptop using the same windows profile they want yo charge you like $25 to use it on your laptop. No I say save your money and pay for one of the other anatomy apps in the store who don't bait and switch with false claims of free content.
