Love the app... Would think it would be even better if it could create a shopping list for recipes.

I've loved the site for a while now and was ecstatic to find that there was also an app. I cook for a rather large family (I call it a small army) and we get tired of the same old same old. This app is perfect for finding new recipes to try and putting a new spin on old favorites. I love the Dinner Spinner feature. You just put in the type of meal, main ingredient, and time frame in which you have to cook it and VOILA! Practically a whole book of recipes to choose from! And you even have the option of turning your lock-screen off while viewing a recipe making it so much easier to keep track of ingredients and steps. The app is perfect. Don't change a thing!!! UPDATE: Daily recipes won't show up and app keeps closing when I try to view a recipe. UPDATE 2: I've come to hate this app! I can never see my daily recipes and the app almost always closes out when I try to view a recipe. Seriously, you guys need to figure out what's going on. Until issues are resolved, I'm uninstalling.

This app works extremely well. The interface is clean and easy to read, the one issue being that you'll have to scroll when trying to see the whole directions, so if your hands are dirty... The app even includes nutrition information for each recipe; however, it doesn't say daily percentages, only the amounts (so it'd say 40g of fat instead of what percentage that is of your daily intake too). The app doesn't drain your battery very much at all, no more than just having your screen on anyway. Overall, this app is a great way to find a recipe for that particular food you've been craving or to find a new way to use all those leftover ingredients that clutter your fridge. On Nokia Lumia Icon.
