    great application by jason

I'm a second year college student, and this app has benefitted me many times. It's good for research papers, and ebooks, also websites and pdf's. so, thank you for this application. I think it is one of the best apps for anyone that has to read a lot but doesn't like reading, especially for full-time students.

Hey there fellow dev, Great looking app! Personally I don't have a use for it, but I think many do and it is very well done. To be honest, I installed it to throw some counter balance at that ridiculous review by 'Fausto'. Some people just don't think much, I know how it is, keep doing what you're doing and best of luck!

    Great Program!!! by Jennifer

I read at a slow pass. Being in college I would be way behind if I had to read everything myself. I use this program to listen to all of my readings and I follow along. It is a great time saver for me and a big help!

    Outstanding! by Ms. Courtney

A great tool to use when you have attention deficit disorder, limited range of motion/physical disability, making things easier to be at your fingertips. ReadAlound needs a icon or share icon to connect to the different websites quicker.

    Pros and Cons by King

Pros: •It reads document •Free version has a 200 page limit •Speech can be sped up •Voice tone can changed •Can choose male/female voice Cons: •Free version has a 200 page limit (yes, this Pro is a Con too) •Full version couldn't even open my 300 page document (had to save chapters separately to be read) •Changes all my document PDF icons to the ReadAloud icon (and I can't fix it unless I uninstall this app... hopefully) •MS Word's text-to-speech ("speak" tool) is similar •Voice sounds just like that of MS Word's speak tool... very robotic •Closes whenever it wants •Reads the page numbers (which may be useful for some ppl, depending) •If you're reading a book with the book's title on every page, it's gonna read that too! •Sometimes, some words don't completely transfer over. Simple words like "but", "after," "can't", and bigger words that can be very important to your reading. I don't know don't why.

Just what I wanted. by Jessica

This app is just what I was hoping for. I can copy and paste text from documents I'm writing into this app and listen to the flow. I don't use it for anything else, but it would be extremely easy to read web text or PDF text as well using this program. After using it for a few weeks, I bought the paid version, which gets rid of the ads. What I like: the different voices (I like the female, UK English one), fast and easy to put text into the reading pane, ability to pause and start. Really accurate pronunciations. What I'd change: I'd make it so I can have this reading in the background while I have a different window maximized (i.e., while I'm in my word processing program). It would be great if we could also customize pronunciations. The engine incorrectly pronounces certain words (surprisingly few, though), and it would be great to be able to edit that as is possible on other programs.
