Game can cause you to pay again by Charles

Be careful and don't make the same mistake I did. Use the import tables button to get your already purchased tables or go to the store and look them up to download.

Great update, plus importing your PBFX2 tables. by RAPTURE1

For those trying to import tables you already own in Pinball FX 2 , you need to first link your XB1 account to Pinball FX 3 servers , then the import tab will show up at the bottom of the screen, to import your Pinball FX 2 tables. So PBFX3 is a upgrade, and also lets you import your old tables, they are updated , and it adds new features, and online gameplay features. The new Universal Movie themed tables are fun, I hope they do more of them. Not all of the tables from PBFX2 are available to import into PBFX3 yet, I hope they will be added soon. So far haven't had any problems with single player updated features, haven't tried co-op , and other online features yet.

    It's all good by O39

The update today erased all my progress except for leaderboard scores. My level, challenge stars, and upgrades were all reset, BUT, the game WORKS again. Also for all those who haven't imported their tables from previous games yet, the game now prompts you to do so! Thanks for the patch Zen, I know it takes a while to get through cert, and you got things fixed as fast as you could.

Update 3 Many import bugs fixed. Rating icreased. by Twigleaf Twigs

4/5. 3rd Updated review. For the first week, it was hard to justify this being public on the Xbox & Win10 PA store, (free or not) due to server side store incompatible table locations and GFX issues, but starting week 2, its getting better with importing tables at least.. Took a good 24 hrs after patch for server to kick in. This import bug gave it a bad start week 1 for old 360 table purchases, as only the free table worked. Took a full 24 hrs after patch, for stpre server to catch up, but seems 99% better. As promised, fair revie if Devs fixed, so + 3 stars. 4/5 is fair, as some minor performance & missing 'animated events' persist. I WILL be finishing my table set purchses as I can. Long term ZEN player. starting with their pre_FX game that was just a Marvels pinball game. Sometimes reviews have to be very blunt & harsh to truly show the problems. Shows the devs were reading. 99% fixed now for Xbox, which is good. Hope all platforms and bugs get worked out for everyone.

import not working correctly by HellsDelight

import shows 23 tables then goes to the store and only downloads 4 tables. forcing to quit and import again will then only open the store but the preowned tables don't show as owned ☹ edit: since the new update it now claims no tables to import

    Zen Fail! by SteampunkPagan

Zen one of the last larger studios that made good games and communicated well has faild hard here. FX2 on 360 was a great game with great tables and a solid multiplayer. On the XB1 FX2 was a poor port because many of their best tables did not come over nor did the multiplayer...Then came word of FX3 better graphics, multiplayer, tournaments and new tables they said. I was excited after all it was Zen saying all this. Well release day came the game seemed to have a few issues but hey no one is perfect and Zen has always been fast to fix issues and communicate with the players. Not this time. The game freezing, table video freeze, the player data being lost and everytime you log on they ask you to link your account and start from scratch all that has gone unresponded to in their forum and game hub. Add to that no as promised multiplayer. They mislead us in their ads. I am just glad I did not buy the three new tables so I am not invested in this poor followup to such a great franchise.

    Zen Pinball Masterpiece by dfin2500

I was seriously excited for this game and so far it has not disappointed. All of my tables imported from PBFX2 with only minor annoyance as the game froze and crashed during the importation process several times requiring a console restart each time. That is the only bug I've encountered so far. The tables look simply stunning, the physics seem much improved and flipper response has been flawless! Not all tables made it from PBFX2 yet. South Park and PvZ are noticeably absent. Hope they plan to bring them over too. Very happy so far! Also they've added a cool new system where you can earn upgrades for your tables that do things like add score multipliers for hitting bumpers or icrease mode timers but you don't have to use them if you want to stay purist.
