Description

Best Whist Game. 100% Free. No pop-up or full-screen ads. Provide best user experience.

The classic game of whist is a plain-trick game without bidding for 4 players in fixed partnerships. There are four players in two fixed partnerships. Partners sit facing each other. A standard 52 card pack is used. The cards in each suit rank from highest to lowest: A K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2.

The player to the dealer's left leads to the first trick. Any card may be led. The other players, in clockwise order, each play a card to the trick. Players must follow suit by playing a card of the same suit as the card led if they can; a player with no card of the suit led may play any card. The trick is won by the highest trump in it - or if it contains no trump, by the highest card of the suit led. The winner of a trick leads to the next.

When all 13 tricks have been played, the side which won more tricks scores 1 point for each trick they won in excess of 6. The partnership which first reaches 7 points wins the game.

Addictive but the computer cheats by Priscilla

It is very relaxing to play. Read the rules first. It's not like the bid whist many of us grew up with. It is very challenging to play with the players at the table. It is a skill game. You must learn to count cards and to remember what cards have fallen. Truly a brain builder for those who grew up with the game. I had to change my rating. It stopped being fun. You might win one game a day but the computer deals all the trumps and high cards to your opponent. You will seldom if ever win a hand. I am uninstalling the game.

    Rigged by Barry

After playing about 10 games, my cards and that of my partner can not win any games because the opponents always have a better hand. Not worth it unless you want to be frustrated.

Great version of whist by Charles

I like it's real play feeling. the only problem is your opponents seem to get better hands more frequently. It's only a game and it is free. You can have fun and pass a few minutes. I enjoy this version of whist as long as we aren't playing for cash!

The Best of Whist by Ronald

I hadn't played in a while and Whist - Card Game made it very easy for me to pick up where I left off. I'm talking about years, decades. Thank you very much for making me a Whist player again. The instructions are very easy to read and a 3 year old would enjoy this game. I was pulled in with graphics and the whole game setup is great and I am hooked again, thanks to your well laid out game. Thanks you so much, again.
