A 12/1/2016 update: just deleted this frustrating app! It's back to its old ways, freezing and crashing constantly. This has to be the most frustrating program I've ever owned. It freezes in the most stupid areas: not on video links or audio clips, but on simple, 2-paragraph articles. Today it was the "5 things you need to know for Thursday" article. This is just very poor programming, coupled with "Who gives a damn?" customer service. Has anyone from USA Today EVER read these consistently horrendous reviews?!?!?

I am not one to write reviews or rate things very often, but I just had to say something about this app! The design is fantastic! I don't even really like USA Today, but they have designed one of the best news apps I have seen! I see several reviews commenting on it taking a while to load & experiencing crashing... I have yet to see either! Regardless, it is still an amazing and intuitive designed app :) I hope to see more windows 10 apps updating in a similar design... It would do a lot of good for the windows eco system!

This is a news app done correctly and properly. It doesn't just display its corresponding website, for example. Good news in a good app. Only problem is it freezes and gets closed trying to view some articles! Oh well, try again.

USA Today latest update for Windows 10 is unfortunate. It was so enjoyable before to use the mouse to scroll to the next page. Now it is back and forth clicking for each new story - bad idea!

I cannot use a news app that doesn't remember where I was when I selected a story. In other words, I've scrolled down, found an article, read it, and when I hit the back button I'm at the top of the 'home page' news stories again. Can you imagine reading a newspaper and every time you finish a story you have to start over from the front page and find where you left off? Simple thing to fix, but unusable as is.
