Steps – Lumia SensorCore SDK sample

Description

Steps is a Lumia SensorCore SDK sample application demonstrating the usage of Step Counter API. This application shows the user's walking and running step counts, and a graph of user’s cumulative steps, during the current day, and up to 7 days in the past. Steps sample also includes a background task component that is triggered to update the live tile with user’s step count meter for the current day (i.e. today) once the user has moved at least 5 steps and at least 10 minutes have elapsed since the last step counter trigger. Application works only on Lumia phones that support SensorCore / “Motion data” collection. Currently supported phones are Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 930, Lumia 1520 and Lumia Icon, running on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan or Denim firmware.
