Very unique and beautiful game by Ryan

I started off playing on a GTX 970, and this game was butter smooth with high settings. After upgrading to a 1080 I had a lot of issues with fps dropping and frame stuttering. I was forced to play on low settings, until discovering that disabling many background processes seemed to fix the issue. Not sure what was going on, but now I'm maxing out the settings and gameplay is smooth. The game itself is really interesting. It's a totally unique game, and has a lot of really cool elements. The scenery is very dynamic and beautifully designed. The live action series adds another dimension to the gameplay, and makes it feel immersive. Overall, I really enjoyed this game, and hope to see a sequel in the future.

Great Game, hindered by technical issues by colin

The story and presentation are really good, the narrative, a time travel yarn but grounded in speculative science is cool and presented in a good fashion. Now the negatives: No gsync support - will tank fps No multi gpu support Overall I've gotten it playing smoothly at 1080p w/ most settings maxed except: textures, volumetric lighting and shadow resolution set to medium. Still looks good and plays smoothly. Rig details: sli 980 i5- 4690k 16 GB ddr 3 installed on my ssd Fix Gsync, and add multi gpu support for this demanding game and I'd give it 5 stars. PS: Add a quit button!

Great game, a graphical marvel by Chris

I have a overclocked GTX 980 with latest drivers and get about 40-50 frames on medium settings. I really like the game though, give it a try. If using your keyboard, you will need to use ctrl and shift for abilities. I put ctrl on my mouse macro and now the game is really intuitive. update: I seem to be getting better performance now. I just started a new game and am running it on ultra. The particle effects are stunning. When it is working, its one the best looking games I have ever played.

    Amazing game by Emanuel

I ran the game on default settings on my 970 which was medium. Most of the time it ran fine but in 1 place it dropped a good amount for 30-60 seconds because a lot was happening. Overall I had a great time playing this game.

Finally downloaded, so far it's pretty good by Kristina

Had trouble downloading, but it finally finished and I've been able to play. Graphics clearly need a high end GPU to perform at it's best. I have a GTX 760 and that is definitely at the low end for this game. That being said, it's perfectly playable and enjoyable. So far so good.

    Story > Performance by brandon

I loved Alan Wake and thought Max Payne was very fun also and I was very much looking forward to Quantum Break. I was worried when reading the reviews but I still really wanted to get it. Lots of people were having problems even downloading the game but somehow things worked out for me. It was installed and started borderless but changed it in the display settings. I have a GTX 960 and run it on medium with, most of the time less than 30fps. Though Microsoft didn't optimize it well so far it is a great game and the live action episodes are really good. There have been lots of negative reviews so far mainly because of the windows store and performance issues but for now it's not that bad and the game still looks nice on medium settings. If you want to wait till it gets better than go for it but if you were as hype as I was for it you can excuse the performance and focus on the game made by an incredible studio.
