Network Speed Test

Probably the best app of this kind. Clean interface useful for geeks and grannies alike, repeatable consistent results, it keeps records for comparison over time and it's technically sound. What elevates this app even more above the others are the additional tests, they don't confuse average people (good layout), but the savvy user gets the whole picture. They are: 1) Network Delay 2) Max. Jitter 3) % packet loss Lower is better. In certain cases these parameters are more important than pure speed, e.g. VoIP (Skype, Viber), online gaming and to a lesser extend streaming music (Spotify).

Best network test app I've tried so far.

Great app! Please allow tests to continue to run in the background especially after locking the screen! Add functionality to set the app to automatically test new Wi-Fi connections in the background after connecting to new Wi-Fi connections! Please also add a Location field and allow users to tap on the location to view it on maps! The History view is missing details like Network Name, and the results of the Additional Tests performed! It would also be nice if tapping a result brings up the graph as being displayed while testing a connection! Please also group test results in History view of the same WiFi connections! I trust that Microsoft will use the information gathered by this app to improve the Wi-Fi Sense app in conjunction with information gathered by the Wi-Fi Sense app! The app stops working and I have to uninstall and reinstall when the history contains a certain number of entries! Please allow users to clear history and/or fix this problem!
