Navmii

I love this software. Turns my windows tablet into a large display GPS unit. The only downside I have found is that it doesn't have any type of built in voice command. This would be great if the google search could be activated with either normal voice commands or even cortana

It's really great free navigation app!!!

Reading the description and even checking it out on their website, convinced me to try Navmii, even though I had never heard of it. Of course, a lot of those features aren't available for Windows users. An email to support got the "no plans to update the Windows app" response, so don't expect this app to improve. The couple of times I tried to use it, the route was ridiculous and the ETA was ambitious, but not even close to being realistic. So, Im back to Waze, also abandonedware, but at least has usable routes and accurate ETA.

would not work for me, seemed very tricky when tried downloading a certain state/country and voice as click on a certain voice and some completely different voice pop up to download the same with maps so deleted this app, I tried to find my own address after d/l ing my state map and nothing happened in the search bar

Very elegant app, but...searching for address returns nothing. The map, I don't even know, you can't see anything besides either white or blue colors, no roads, can't find where I am even after hitting the "me" button, essentially nothing works at all in this app. I'm going to keep it in hopes for an update but literally NOTHING works. 1 star UPDATE 12/18/2014 Ok so now I can find where I am and see roads. Great! However, typing in a full address returns no results. If I type "123 Main St" nothing comes up. If I just type "Main St" it will bring up the correct Main Street. So, it recognizes streets and roads just no addresses on those roads. UI could be more responsive too. Still can't be my main nav app but it's getting there. 2 stars Update 02/14/2015 Wow, pretty nice updates. Haven't actually got to test the driving aspect, but addresses are appearing, UI is better, and the map now scrolls smoothly. Keep it up, devs.

It crashes many times.

I put this on my Unbranded/Cow boom 60$ Windows 10 tablet, and now I have 10" GPS navigation that I can use in my car.
