Money Tracker Pro

Over the years I have use most of the financial apps found in the Windows Store. Several are quite good. This one is really great. It is the depth of features, reports, and capabilities that put it on par with several desktop programs I have used. The app does allow you to balance an accounts within it, produce excel spreadsheet for any thing and any point within the app, and the in app report section allows for custom reports. With the grouping feature you can divide your checking or savings account into sub-accounts making it easy to earmark money for Christmas, a new car, or such. The app has become rather good at tracking investments to the point I have dropped my old stand alone investment software. Best of all, the app data remains under my control within my computer or in my case on my OneDrive account so I can sync across my phone, tablet and desktop. The app is continually upgraded and keeps getting better. I love this app and highly recommend it.

V2.8 Update: These guys listen. Hands down the best budgeting and finance-aggregating app in the Windows (Phone) Store. Animations just got better and it now supports Cortana. Requests from users are being answered and incorporated. They've surprised me in every update released. V2 Update: I've deleted all my stock portfolio apps. I'm now using this app to track my investment accounts! Fantastic work from the developers! ------ Original Review-------- I moved from using Account Tracker to this app. It's an excellent app for managing several accounts. The developers are responsive and work hard to keep the app updated and bug free. They're very focused on making this app the best checkbook/budget app on WP. Im not moving back to Account Tracker anytime soon. I've added this to another excellent purchase!!!

This is easily the best personal finance app available. If you don't like having to give your bank log in credentials to a third party and prefer to input your transactions by yourself, this is your app. If you want to have an app with developers who continuously add features and improve their products, this is the one. I have been using this for seven months... It never crashes. I don't always write reviews for apps, but when I do, it's because the app is excellent. This one meets that standard. Good job to the developers. Keep up the awesome work.

Absolutely perfect! My wife and I have this installed across two PCs and two Windows phones - the sync to OneDrive works flawlessly. We sign both instances of the app to the same OneDrive account and set the app to automatically sync at regular intervals. Has everything we could want in a money management app.

Great app - totally customizable with income/expense categories. It has everything you'd expect from a personal finance app. The programmer has made the app universal for PC and Phone but I only use the app on my phone because it fully supports Continuum!!!! My one request/mini complaint - Syncing is rather manual. You click a sync button for syncing. If you use more than one device, when syncing to the device you DIDN'T use last, you have to click on "Overwrite Local" in order to sync. The problem with that is that the options are really close together and it would be easy to click "Overwrite Server". But insead of that - this app gets 5 stars when I don't even have to think about syncing between multiple devices. Criticism aside - this app has reporting, etc. You will NOT regret purchasing this app. But please make syncing "invisible" across devices. Besides the Continuum feature, that's the other reason why I don't have the app installed on my Surface Pro 4 - I'm lazy

Excellent!! Almost perfect personal finance app!!

I really want to like this app, and was really close to purchasing it. But I feel like there are a few things that are just too important for me to Ignore. For example, I don't like the work flow, too much swiping and tapping to manage/analyze your finances. I would rather see a dashboard of my finances and have it represented maybe in different ways so I can clearly see what's happening to my money. When I swipe here and there to get somewhere...I lose context and understanding. I would also like to see more options to visualize my data... not just pies and maybe a graph here and there. This app just needs more feature rich options.

5/11/2017 - wouldn't use anything else. Very good, updates keep coming. Backup works well. Export to several file types. For me it's very important to be able to export my data to a format readable by any platform and this option is there. 11/01/2015 Still using this app and still works great. 6/6/2016 Works equally well on Windows 10 PC.
