Minesweeper : Free Game

Every version of minesweeper I have played up till this one has expanded your click until it is surrounded by numbers if you click on an empty square with no mine around it. This version doesn't do that and it immediately became too tedious to play. I came to this version seeking a free minesweeper with no ads, where the first click is safe, and the boards don't always come with a 50/50 chance of being solvable. This game has been around a long time. Nobody is going to pay money for it. Simple flaws in the design should be fixed by now. And there's no point to bogging down your downloaders' computers with ads just to make a few pennies. This is ridiculous.

It doesn't adjust to the screen. No way to play the whole field even in the full screen mode.
