Memo for Cortana

When you start a memo and a onenote is created, I would think that when you launch memo again and ask the question about the memo you just created, it should not just launch Cortana's memo app but open the specific OneNote and play the memo. It doesn't do that. Keeps saying memo can't be found. You have to manually type the memo after the Cortana memo app launches. This memo app doesn't seem to interface well with OneNote Would have given 5 stars but didn't because of this reason. I am amending this review and also changing the stars from 2 to 5 due to having contact with the dept that created the Cortana memo feature. They gave detailed instructions on how to use it more effectively so I get the most out of it. The memo feature is working perfectly.

Just press the Cortana search button, say "Memo...(whatever)," and she jots it down for you. No reminder time required. Great for making on the go notes to yourself that you can check later.

At first I had a "ToDo"App installed thinking that it'd be easy especially since it synced w/calendar & reminders...I'd never miss or be late for another appointment! WRONG! It just never worked right and I wound up missing more appts then before so back to more research. Then I found Memo in the "must haves" area for Microsoft Phones and I've got to admit, it's easier to use, more reliable at reminders, & bonus I can even use it as a journal (+sync it w/Notes) so I don't miss appts I've created a memo for and if I'm hit by the "inspiration fairy" I just open Memo and tell it my latest ideas or moments I'd like to remember before being interrupted and all is forgotten. Thanks bunches for the App...I even enjoy talking to Cortana to get feedback of my own, lol. Will probably get 5*'s after I've used it some more but right now I'll stick with 4. Thanks again KPG

Try saying, "Take a note ...", instead of "Memo ...". This functionality is already built-in to Cortana, plus you get the audio.

She minds me better than my dog does, I will say that

It would be good if Cortana could also remind you without you having to launch her, like a voice alert or she'll remind you verbally while you're surfing the web or jus doing something basic with minimal interference. Also I have noticed that Cortana can only remember two things or events or appointments at a time in her memo. If I go over that she gets confused.
