iNi Reader

Wo, this app is the wonderful replacement for nextgen reader, which was best app for feedly for two years until w10 release. Ini reader is faster, better looking, and half free.

Ini does everything I want from an RSS reader. Feedly integration, Large image previews, Great article viewer, Categorization, Pinable live tile and more. The only real issues stem from UX. The app is very unstable. Crashes often. Lags just enough for me to notice. Sometimes requiring 2 taps to get a section to respond. If the developer could just polish off some of these performance issues, I would gladly issue a 5 star rating.

Hello, simply the best Feedly client on the Windows Store; but with the Redstone update it crashes upon start and or doesn't update properly. Please let us know if you plan on continued support! Thank you!

Been waiting for a proper feedly reader for windows10 - and here it is! One gripe: the modern view, light theme, the article headlines are not readable as they are using dark text on top of a dark semi-transparent overlay. Make the text light or make the overlay light and I'll make this a well-deserved 5 stars!

I switched from NextGen to iNi because it works better, looks better, and syncs faster. Recently, however, it started crashing a lot while I'm reading feeds. I hope an update to fix this is underway.

Right now, it either crashes immediately upon loading or within a few minutes. What's odd is, the free version didn't have these problems. Only after paying for it did I start experiencing problems. The interface is great - probably the best so far. Better than Nextgen for sure. However there are some problems. Customizing iNi is downright terrible. There's no drag-and-drop anywhere! You can't re-order your feeds by dragging them. You can't drag a feed from one folder to another. I can't believe they released it with such a glaringly obvious flaw. If the developer wants to make this app a hit - first fix the stability issues. Next, totally revamp & replace the way iNi is customized. Everything should be drag-and-drop & touch friendly. Things like "select all" when you have a bunch of check boxes are must-have items. And, finally - the front end should allow for some basic resizing or scaling of the tiles - don't force a specific tile size on the users.
