freda epub ebook reader

I have tried Tucan, Bookviser app and almost all other ebook readers and now reviewing Freda. What is good in Freda: 1. The best pagination, headings etc. 2. Text-alignment is best 3. SD card support 4. Speech What can be better: 1. User interface is very slow, I can see the loading animation everytime. 2. When pages are turned fast, it lags. 3. Page turning effect is not good. I mean please add the page curl option in the animations and make the animations smoother. 4. Speech customization options like to change speed of narration. 5.It should not try to load ads when there is no connection. Otherwise very good app. I love it... Please make changes in the next update thanks in advance...

Very customizable and the interface is great. I found this after being disappointed with several ebook apps, especially Barnes & Noble and their stupid Nook app which won't scale properly on Windows 10 after 5 months. Freda has basically every important feature: dictionary, text copying, find, bookmarks, highlighting, and notes. You can even choose which dictionary you want. This is my favorite Windows 10 app of any category. (Note to developer: My earlier review mentioned problems with the dictionary but I found out after that it was another program interfering.)

I have over 2000 books from many different sources in my library. Freda opens them all with no problem. All of the settings are easy to understand and use. This is without a doubt the best Ebook app I've ever used or seen at any price! And BTW, I'm not a bit shy about pointing out issues with apps, but Freda doesn't seem to have any!

Once it is set up properly the App works very well. Very responsive. Would be five stars if you could add notes.
