Give me the old version by Lewis

I like that it's hearts. I like that it's free. I like that the queen of spades breaks hearts. I don't like the ads! The ad's make it virtually impossible to play the game in a reduced size window. They don't collapse/resize, they just take up a big chunk of screen no matter what you do. I don't like the animation! It doesn't serve any purpose to display the unsorted cards in your hand then do an animated arranging into suits. I don't like the graphics! Poor/fuzzy resolution on both the text and the cards.

    Lousy by Lonestar

The program crashes regularly when you mouse on the deal button. This happens for me about once in every 5 games. It really needs sound. Also, when you indicate that you want to play the next hand, why does it require the second action of "deal". You can't play the next hand without dealing so a single action is all that is needed. The playing algorithms used for the other players are quite pathetic and predictable. 95% of the time, you start out with clubs and the computer player with the ace plays two rounds of diamonds and then onto spades. Also the playout towards the end is quite pathetic as the computer player with the queen will often play it when there were other moves that could have passed the lead. The developer should see if they can get the code for the "classic" game of hearts that came with windows up to windows 7.

    It's Good by Tom

Been playing Hearts on Windows since about the early 1990's. Even had 2 pc's networked so my wife and I could play. This version is accurate. but the ads are really obnoxious! And like others have said, no settings.
