Description

With Charmap you can see all installed fonts on your system and look through the characters they support. (Just like Windows charmap.exe)

You can view or copy their Unicode value, so you can easily paste it in your XAML.

If you have a feature idea, you can send me an email via the charms/settings menu :)

new in version 1.1: + more copy character options + feedback/donate buttons

Doesn't tell you what you need anymore by Dana K.

If you're coming here looking for the keyboard shortcuts you used to be able to get on the native Windows charmap, I'm so very, very sorry. They don't live here anymore.

    Terrible by Kathy

Terrible. Change for the sake of change. Anyone who uses character map is looking to be productive. This app took a step backwards

Please send us the older version by Alan

VERY slow and cannot hold a candle to the previous version. I gave it 2 stars as it is usable, but just barely. I expected much more from MicroSoft

    Oh Brother by Unknown

Microsoft bright idea of the day: take an app that's been a part of Windows forever, take it out, break it, and then make us download it. And to pour salt in the wound when you finally figure this out and click on the search link to download it, you go to the store main page and get to search all over again. Pro tip - skip the store and just copy charmap from an older system.
